If you are building an Aero M5 upper, this handgaurd lines up perfectly with the top rail. The attachment system locks up tight and don’t see any reason for this rail to move. If you are using an SLR adjustable gas block, don’t tighten it down until after you have made your adjustments. You won’t be able to get to the adjustment screw with the rail installed, and the nuts are hard to get out once you torque it down.

I used this 16 inch SLR high profile handguard with Aero Precision M5 receiver set. It lines up perfectly with the upper rail. The 16 inch handguard covers the gas block on the Odin works 6.5 Creedmoor XL 22 inch barrel. The handguard installs easily and is very solid.
