   I used this buffer for my custom built AR-9 with BFS-III trigger, and it works like a dream! Feeds all ammo I have tried with it so far, and keeps up with the fast trigger really well. Build quality and finish is superb, I’m really glad I went with this one.

   Well it's like the title of the review says, it works well for ar 9 pistols. I have tried several different brands and weights of buffers on my 9mm builds (this being the 4th) and this one seems to hit the goldilocks zone..not too heavy and not too light..I paired this with a JP enterprises spring and a spikes buffer spacer and taccom BCG and shooting through a faxon 4.5 inch barrel topped off with the Odin works atlas 9mm…it runs like a top…300 rounds the first time out and not one glitch or malfunction of any kind.

   Good and heavy. I have used one from Foxtrot Mikes, but this one seems to be more stable and less recoil. Actually balances my heavy barrel weight on the gun, for a better controlled follow up shot. I would recommend you give this a try if you feel too much recoil using your 9mm carbine.

   Extended buffer so you dont break bolt catch. Works great

   Nice buffer for my spikes tactical pcc build paired with a spikes tactical carbine spring. 150 rounds through so far, no hiccups, quality product from Spikes Tactical. Will buy again if needed.
