This is my second handguard from STNGR and I love it as much as the first. Well made, easy to install, clean edges and functional. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an upgraded handguard on their AR.

I was looking to replace the hand guard that came with my new AR and I came across this Stinger Raptor M-Lock and what stood out for me was the different look compared to what other people I have seen had on their AR’s. The sturdy feel of this hand guard felt like it was made very well and of course the pricing of the hand guard was very good. Overall I love this handguard and every time I go to the range people are always asking me about the handguard. They say it looks unique and gives it a fierce look. I love it and I also loved the service from Opticsplanet. I would recommend the handguard and this website to anyone.

This handguard was perfect for my 10” 300blk barrel. There is about a quarter inch between the handguard and the back of my suppressor some people like this space to be tighter but this allows me to use a qd mount as there is reward travel before you can twist to remove my suppressor. This gap also keeps the handguard from heating up. The reduced OD in the middle between the conveniently placed pic rails offers a nice grip area and the muzzle end of the rail also functions as a built in hand stop, which is particularly important on short barrels if you desire to mot mangle your hands.

100% satisfied! Measurement’s were accurate as advertise, build quality A+. All hardware and tool come with, high quality at a bargain price. A beast of a handguard. I’m a huge fan of STNGR products now. I initially bought another brand handguard-(not satisfied), Opticsplanet was awesome about the return turnaround, super easy process.

I used this as an upgrade to my M&P 15 when converting to a free float handguard. I love the lightweight design- there are lots of cuts all over including in the picatinny rail on top. It also has a nice line up notch (anti-rotation tabs) that keeps it in line with the receiver. My only downside would be that the anodized finish doesn't feel premium.

This review is for the 8" handguard only. Couldn't really tell how the handguard was built by the pics. When I got it, it has the bump outs for the pic rail pieces and QD attachments. These would be ok on a 15" handguard, but on 8" handguard, it looks very awkward. I had already installed it and tried it, and decided to remove it. Wish I could return it, but it's already used. If the bump out sections weren't so pronounced, I may be ok, but they are pretty big on the sides.
