length is shorter than factory buffer tube. but with provided buffer spring, pulling the charging handle is so much smoother than the factory (franklin armory). wish it had holes or indentations at the bottom for stabilizer/brace mounting screw so that it's perfectly aligned.

this item was on backorder so I had to wait a few weeks for it to arrive; met expectations in every manner of fit an finish like I have come to expect on Strike Industries products; but I did not realize the kit did not include a castle nut! my fault for the oversight, but c'mon. the build was delayed a week while I waited for a castle nut…because it's not included. I'll recommend this kit, as long as you pair it with a castle nut. you have to buy that separately. for some reason.

This is the best way to go for that short length you are looking for in a pistol build.The short buffer is strange looking, but works like a charm with several different types of ammo I used.Just the ticket for a pistol build you may be doing and not real interested in a brace, but I'm sure you could put one on this if you liked.
