This is a good size to easily locate and operate without being too large that it is unintentionally pressed. Quality and fit are on point. I know that strike doesn't have the best reputation in the elitist circles but for this application i think this is a good option.

Building a S/I lower setup and ordered this for my lower. Works great but unfortunately if you have a BCA side charging upper it will not work. Catch extension rest on upper receiver just enough not to close. Ended up putting it on my PSA build and works great. If you have a BCA upper , id suggest the other model as thats what im gonna have to do.

This is well built and overall does its just. I just feel the button to lock the bolt carrier group is very small. And be careful if you run an ambi mag release to make sure it will fit with this bolt catch

The bolt catch fits and functions correctly. The finish is very dull. So if your expecting a nice nitride style finish it's not that. I ordered 2 of these and they are both dull. Which is fine for me I coated one in FDE paint and the other I left alone. I have a Geissele Maritime bolt catch which I like. But these are so similar the strike industries one is worth the price.

I would give this a 3 stars, but I realize not many people really care about the bolt hold (lower half).. I do though, and even though the release portion on this is very nice, the bolt hold open could be a lot more substantial…. the giessele maritime is better, IMO (even though I like the bolt release better on strike industries)
