The Strike Industries PDW Stabilizer represents the pinnacle of ultra-compact PDW systems. At the compressed position, the compact PDW allows for effortless maneuverability particularly in close quarters and vehicular operations. With the press of a button, the rapid deployment system instantly springs to the extended position for greater shot stability and faster reaction time. Previous PDW systems for ARs have been notorious for expensive proprietary systems, spotty reliability and poor ergonomics. This system is designed to be able to drop into your existing platform. The buffer system is carefully engineered to provide high reliability while allowing for the use of standard bolt carriers, allowing for multi-role use with a single system. The included flat-wire spring increases bolt load despite the compact dimensions for greater reliability, even in extreme short barrel configurations. Included with the PDW is a rubberized cheek rest to create a comfortable cheek weld, a criticism of many competitor PDW systems. At the rear of the buffer tube and beneath the housing, QD cups are built in for expanded sling mounting options. Unlike most traditional arm stabilizers, the PDW Stabilizer is designed to be ergonomic and comfortable along all planes. The overall design eliminates any snag hazards and abrasion zones resulting in a comfortable cheek-weld and stabilizing interface. Strike Hard, Strike Fast with the SI PDW Stabilizer. Good, healthily construction and easy installation. Just some medium lock gel and you’re up and legal. Ordering via Optics Planet was good. Current issues slightly affect delivery times but all in all, nice solid product.

This is my favorite model of stabilizer brace. It is compact and deploys with a touch of a button. The brace is strong and had minimal "wiggle" in the brace mechanism. I would highly recommend the Strike Industries PDW 2-Position Stabilizer Brace.“

Keeping it short and to the point. Absolutely love the brace on my 10.5” 5.56 barrel pistol build. Activation button can sometimes be hard to depress while using the QD sling point. Springs on brace rods should be stronger. Sometimes it won’t click out to the full extension position.

I purchased this brace for an 8” .300blk AR pistol build. I wanted something that was compact and looked great and Strike Industries did not disappoint. Collapsed, this stock is extremely short and makes the overall a great length with this barrel size to conceal anywhere. The flat wire buffer spring and buffer are a little noisy while cycling the bolt when I was testing the operation, but I haven’t fired a round through the pistol yet, so we’ll see how the performance is. The quality is typical Strike Industries, so very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to put this on another build. The thing to consider is the overall length. I know there are restrictions on being able to put a vertical foregrip on depending on pistol length, so if your running a short barrel it may be an issue.

I'm a big guy and was worried that this brace would be too short for myself. I'm building an ar pistol so short is the name of the game. It assembled easily and is very solid. I can't wait to get out to the range.

Really awesome "brace" here. Installs fairly easily. The spring mechanism performs flawlessly and pushing that button and having the OTF like deployment will make you the envy of all those guys at the range rocking those SBA3s, KAK braces. This is really the only true PDW brace on the market as the SB and Maxim braces are not spring loaded. Not the most comfortable brace when it "occasionally and sporadically" makes contact with your shoulder tho, but it is not uncomfortable either. The cheek weld is actually pretty good considering the design. It has performed flawlessly thus far on my 10.5 inch 300 BO pistol with no cycling issues whatsoever. The downside is mainly the castle nut will come loose after 40 to 50 rounds. Since there is no end plate to stake the nut to the 2 inch long castle nut is free to back out and loves to do so. The only thing I can think you can do about it is to add some sort of non permanent lock tight. Also the plastic cheek weld piece just slides over the tube so it can also come loose and fall off. I know sacrifices had to be made due to the design but these issues mean this is mainly just a range toy for me and not something I would use for self defense purposes. All things considered tho the Viper brace is another big win for Strike Ind.
