The Superlative Arms Patented Bleed Off, direct impingement, gas block for the AR-15/AR-10/LR-308 platform adjusts the gas flow by bleeding the gas out of the front of the block instead of restricting the flow like conventional adjustable blocks. The remaining gas and pressure are bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler. Reduction of wear on the bolt carrier group components and upper receiver. Reduction of felt recoil allowing for faster follow-up shots. Patented adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination. In Bleed Off Mode the gas adjustment screw does not restrict the gas flow; therefore, there is no erosion or seizing of the screw, and no loss of detent due to carbon build up. Although it is removable, we have added a safety mechanism, which stops you from unintentionally backing the screw all the way out. When using SBRs and/or suppressors the Bleed Off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back. I've been through a few adjustable gas blocks as I'd rather control the gas myself from the front of the rifle. Not really a fan of changing the gas inside of the rifle (adjustable BCGs). SAA gas block gives you two different ways to bleed the gas off or block it off. More options would be the main reason to purchase this gas block. Be sure to watch the SAA video on youtube.

This is by far the best adjustable gas block made. Ive tried alot of adjustable gas blocks. Most will seize up pretty quickly. Their bleed off system works great for keeping the adjustment screw from seizing. There is a huge adjustment range to dial in your gas which is vital to reducing felt recoil. I was able to go with a lighter buffer spring and bolt with heavier buffer for a super reliable almost zero recoil setup. If your looking to fix overgassed harsh recoiling ar this is where you start. Forget about heavier buffer springs to fix overgassed guns. Fix overgassed guns by fixing the gas!

I had the Cali 14.5 itch. Noveske Afghan, Lantac Key Mount Dragon-Pin Weld and I don’t see a better Adj. Gas block for a better retail price of $90. The SA bleed off GB. sitting opposite a Geissele H2 buffer assembly. My ammo varies by availability and current budget. I shoot M193 -M855. It’s a heavy little rifle as compared to my DD LW and BCM BHF LW uppers. Heat, ammo, accuracy, barrel whip, recoil or rise aren’t an issue. Not at my 60rd, 10 magazine drills. I don’t care too much about round effectiveness long as it punches a clean hole in the paper. I can hit 200-400 yd. with reasonable repeat accuracy and speed with the Afghan gassed properly. I’m stoked on the the DirtyBird Ind. build and my very 1st SA GB.
Chicken little –
First adjustable I put on it cracked in half. It did not have the bleed off. This is amazing with a geissele super 42 H2…. Shoots like butter now. No recoil but nice big pretty fireball. Ok well now I just have to fill up this review box
