The Tactical Solutions X-Ring Takedown Bull Barrel is a lightweight and highly accurate .22 LR rifle barrel for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown 22LR and for the Tactical Solutions X-Ring TD VR semi-automatic .22 rifles. The barrel comes standard with a fully adjustable rear sight, a fiber optic front sight, and a complete twist-on locking mechanism for easy installation. This barrel upgrade represents what TacSol is known for in the .22LR aftermarket barrel industry; lightweight, highly accurate, and easy-to-install barrels. The barrel dramatically increases accuracy, performance, and reliability. It is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a .920 diameter target contour profile. Suppressors are easily attached by simply twisting them on the barrels 1/2 X 28 threaded end. Didn't really notice an improvement in accuracy, but it is very nicely made. Fit and finish is excellent. Barrel is a rifled sleeve design, which I did not realize when I ordered it. Something is slightly different on the mounting lug, causing an aftermarket stock to have a larger gap. Mounting it to the factory stock showed no difference.

Set in a Magpul Hunter stock, great fit and feel. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase. This barrel with a Romeo 5 and the magpul stock makes the ultimate Takedown 10/22. Improved accuracy and aesthetics. Threaded barrel was a plus and quality is top notch.

This barrel is absolutely beautiful.The one downside of my barrel is that the sights are slightly canted. It is very easy to tell once placed with the tac sol reciever but it not noticable otherwise. At the range this barrel performs as expected.

I ordered this barrel with some skepticism and my thinking was how accurate can a 22 really be but after seeing it and being able to stack rounds at 20 yards within a 1/4” I highly recommend this barrel to anyone serious about having an accurate .22

I have been using the takedown barrel in Tactical Solutions Receiver for about 2 years. I went with the Magpul x22 for this build and love it! The fit and finish are great. The accuracy has been really good for me. I can hit bullseye out to 100 yards and hit silhouettes out to 310 yards with Nikon rimfire. Make sure after barrel is inserted the barrel nut is tightened down firmly. I could walk all day in the woods with this gun it’s so light. Definitely recommend!

Fit and finish 10/10, accuracy 10/10. Awesome high visibility fiber optic sight, threaded barrel with matched thread protector. Installation is extremely simple, and still fit perfectly with my Magpul backpacker setup.
