This is much easier to charge than the standard charging handle on a Ruger 10/22. The skeletonized part I could take it leave as i don't think the weight savings is worth the trade offin durability. Spring is a good weight and doesn't bind to the guide rod.

It's very nicer then the standard charging handle. Reason for the stars I feel like the edges are sharp and also I have gone through 2 c clips. Both have fallen out. The one that came with it and also I installed one. I don't have c clip on it currently.

When you add a red dot on your Ruger 1022 The factory charger is very hard to pull back. The install was good because I had to look up videos as I never done one of these before, but the second one will be very easy. There are many charging handles for the 1022 but after viewing all the YouTube videos, this one was highly recommended and I see that quality now that it’s on my Ruger.

This thing is awesome. I bought to replace original charging handle and now it shoots way smoother. The handle is maybe twice the size but still easy to maneuver. I highly recommend to change out your charging handle with this one.
