This is not an ambidextrous charging handle. This is a basic mil-spec style charging handle.

Pretty, but really delicately built. I carried the weapon in a case and only took it out at the firing line. … it only survived about 25 magazines and then the ambi mechanism fell off. … definitely not satisfied.

I bought one of the mil-spec handles, not the "Tactical" one, and instead of receiving one I received TWO in my package. Now I know why. They appeared to be mil-spec, the correct weight, feel, etc. They installed and tested OK and then I noticed some issues. First I noted some excessive wear around the top plane of the handle up around where it meets the back end of the upper receiver. It seemed like normal wear but on closer inspection I observed metal flaking and not just worn off anodizing. I didn't worry too much about it and continued testing as it was just on the handle. I probably racked my AR a total of about 25 times at this point. Just a few more pulls later I couldn't pull the bolt back anymore. The handle seized up. I had issues removing the handle from the receiver and I found the handle had deformed and unusable. I replaced it with the other one that came in my package from O.P. and the same thing happened but in shorter time. I wouldn't trust my life with this version of the charging handle – it is straight up garbage. If you're gentle with it maybe it will survive, but definitely don't count on it in a defensive situation. That's not to say the other parts from this company are outright bad – they might be, but I'll withhold judgement…

I wanted a fancy one i just can't afford it right now so this one does the same thing, without looking as cool as the others I'll admit. but it works for now!

I didn't receive the charging handle I wanted. Because I had to click choose option. I was looking for the black one not noticing it was just a basic mail spec charging handle. My fault for choosing it yes. But it shouldn't have been and available option! I thought I was ordering totally different ambidextrous model.

This broke the FIRST time I used it. As in, I loaded 2 magazines. I charged and shot through 1 of magazines and when I inserted the second one, I noticed there was only 1 side of the handle. I removed the second magazine, closed the bolt and then pulled it to see if I could even charge it again for the second magazine and the other half broke. 1 hour drive to go shooting in the outdoors and that gun was done for the trip. I had to switch charging handles back and forth between my other rifle. AVOID THIS HEAPING PILE OF TRASH and save yourself the disappointment. I cannot believe this company would even put out this garbage onto the market. I mean it's so bad, in some way or form this has to be criminal.
