This charging handle latch would work better if I did not have a cheapy standard Mil-Spec charging handle. With the standard charging handle I have, I noticed that the latch sticks out way to far away from the pulls. I feel like the majority of the time your fingers would be very spread apart as the pad is located so far away from the handle. It might work for some people but for me I feel like it would be sticking out way to far from the body of the rifle. If you have an aftermarket charging handle with wider finger pulls it would probably work great.
