   Not much to say other than they are easier to grab and pull out and the color added some nice detail to what was a typical boring black AR. I have four different burnt bronze parts on the rifle and it looks so much better than before.

   These pins slip right out as they were shipped, and did not include the springs or pins in the picture. I already threw away the packaging and didn't feel like going through the return hassle for a low-price item like this. So now I have to buy the pins and springs elsewhere, or just keep these for spare parts and get a whole other unit

   Bought a set of these takedown pins. They were smaller in diameter than Mil-Spec. Called Timber Creek, they sent a new set of pins. These were the right diameter but the indentations for the dentent pins are so large and deep once you push in the takedown pins you can't pull them out. Will not bother them anymore and will try a different company.

   Nice takedown pins they are well made. i definitely will buy again from Timber Creek. They make hreat products and the pricing is reasonable. The flat dark earth color matches perfect with all the other FDE components I have on my AR-15
