This handguard comes stock on the M4-22 PRO. The M-LOK design allows mounting of bipods, grips, lights, or lasers and optics. Free float handguards are known to improve accuracy. The accuracy of the free floating handguard comes from the fact that the handguard doesnt touch the barrel it is mounted directly to the upper receiver. This allows the barrel to float and gives better harmonics, resulting in slightly better accuracy. The accuracy difference is especially evident when using grips or bipods on the handguard. When you rest a rifle on a bipod that is attached to the barrel (or a drop-in handguard) the bipod will create force that can slightly warp the barrel. This small amount of warping can provide fairly significant accuracy issues down the range. But with a free float handguard, you can put all kinds of force on the handguard and it won’t affect the barrel whatsoever. This composite handguard is surprisingly pretty durable and a great budget option for those who are pitching pennies for one a quick handguard for the meantime I haven't put it to good use yet but by the feel of it I think it'll hold up for a good while it feels a little cheap and I will eventually upgrade to an aluminum handguard but for now this will do just fine

It is extremely lightweight and durable almost too light and makes it feel like a toy sometimes but it seems to hold up very well no issues with it recommend if you want something cheap. Very reasonably priced I would recommend it to anybody who wants a cheap durable rail.

This is a plastic piece without screws or fasteners. It seems that the product should have base hardware to attach to a barrel but but it doesn’t. It is pretty worthless.

The item description states it is made of aluminum… it is not! It's made of cheap, flimsy plastic!!!
