Amazing back up sights. These are made to go through hades and make it back. The way they attach is bombproof. High quality and you get what you pay for! If you can afford them,I very highly recommend!

I bought these to put on an hunting AR10 to be able to acquire a target at close distances quickly, or to use as backups if my scope gets damaged during a hunt. These Troy 45* drop away battle sights are high quality backup sights that fold down to store out of the way until needed. I was hesitant to buy these due to the price but after getting them, I’m very satisfied that I did.

From the build quality to the positive detents for flipping them up and down these sites, while a bit expensive, are absolutely superb. I know there are other less expensive choices but it was hard to find offset sights in FDE.

Ordered these earlier this year to fit into a custom carbine. After finally receiving the carbine, I went to install these iron sights and ran into two major issues. First issue is that I couldn’t even get the front sight onto the rail. I’ve searched up and down the internet to see if anyone else had this issue, to my surprise I’ve seen one person with the same problem. However, I was barely able to get the rear sight on and had to use wax so it wouldn’t severely scratch the rails all up. Once I got the rear sight in place, I noticed that when I fold it down, it’s a millimeter from my radian raptor charging handle. Even if this was an oem CH, you’d still have issues grasping the CH. Id also note that this is as forward as you can get the mount due to the brass block impeding the mount. At this point I’m still trying to contact Troy to see if there’s a way to work this issue out. One star because they’re unusable and because opticsplanet will not allow an in-house warranty claim, as I’ve exceeded their return policy timeframe, even though I just opened the package. If I’m able to square this with either company or find a reasonable fix for the sights, I’ll update this review.

Well made and fits my Troy fore end perfectly. Easy to flip sights on base. Was a little too tight on the receiver. Expensive but you get what you pay for.
