Troy Rear Tritium Folding Battle Sight set the world standard for performance and durability. Like all tritium night sights they are powered by a form of hydrogen that emits a continuous light source where using batteries or electricity is not possible. target acquisition is made possible in low or no light conditions. These Troy Battle Sights are designed to work on same plane rail systems only. Will not work with a railed gasblock that is higher or lower than the receiver. We offer complete line of Troy Tritium & Fiber Optic Night Sights. For our complete selection of products by Troy Industries on sale please visit our Troy Industries page. I'm pleased with these sights. Based on research, these BUIS met my expectations. I just wish they were a bit cheaper.Pros: Very solid and well machined.Cons: Price.

The sights are great and rigid and I recommend them for any rifle especially a shtf rifle. But the tridium isn't bright at all, it's still visible in low light but I have Tru glow nights sights on my pistol that are way brighter and they are less than half the price of these. Very disappointing in a great sight but it just doesn't get those last essential things. If you're worried about low light conditions these are an ok option but if you don't care there are other great options for a much smaller price.

Great product, the Trijicon tritium inserts make target acquisition fast & intuitive. Great night sights for your rifle, especially if you're a fan of pistol night sights. Highly recommend, but if you're buying the rear sight ; be sure to buy the tritium front sight as well. Troy makes great stuff.

Tritium is horrible – I can barely see it in the dark or in low light. Totally unacceptable in an emergency situation. There would be no quick acquisition. Took it back to the gun shop and they agreed that it was barely noticeable in the dark. However, he said it is ok. So I left and called Troy to tell them what is going on with the Tritium. He told me (what I already knew he would say) that the back sight should be less bright than the front (which, by the way, is Troy HK Tritium flip up also and is perfect). He said if I can see it at all it is good. The Tritium is useless in this sight. I will say that I mounted them, went to the range, and shot with them. They were dead center high @ 50yrds. Two full rotations (can't do 90 degree adjustment on the front sight because it is bladed-not a post) and I was cutting out the bullseye on a 6" splatter burst. I would have bought the non-Tritium. Also, the release button on the rear sight felt gritty when pushed so I blew it out with high-pressure air and gave it a few drops of oil and that seemed to help smooth it out a little.

I’ve been using Troy battle sights for years. They have been in the business for quite sometime and in my opinion are still some of the best sights that you can buy.
