TRYBE Defense is excited to announce the next evolution of charging handle accessory technology with the introduction of the Magnite Series of Ambidextrous Charging Handles. 33% lighter than the industry standard thanks to its patent-engineered “whisper technology” (shhh), the TRYBE Defense Magnite Charging Handle offers a durable tactical feel and reliable charge despite its ultra-lightweight frame. Plus, our magnite charging handles are coated in hexagonal electro nickel boron nitride, making them self-lubricating, reducing friction, sound, and eliminating the need for wet lubrication. The charging handles from your loyal friends at TRYBE Defense also feature an ambidextrous design that can be easily operated regardless of which hand you use. A contoured construction prevents catching from ruining your shot, and deep grooves on the release levers are easy to locate in low light or with wet, cold, or gloved hands. And thanks to its textured design, this aftermarket accessory will not slip even after repeated use. Nice to look at and even nicer to touch, the TRYBE Defense AR-15 Ambidextrous Magnite Charging Handle is a game-changer for your AR-15 custom build. What is Magnite exactly? Magnite is a revolutionary alloy that combines metal with synthesized nanotechnology to offer a material with substantially improved strength properties while weighing 30% less than standard 6061-T6 Aluminum. TRYBE Defense has achieved a substantial weight reduction on our Magnite Charging Handles, Handguards, Foregrips and Picatinny Rail Sections while improving on other attributes of traditional aluminum alloys found in the firearms market. Magnite has a higher vibrational dampening characteristic than any other commercial grade alloy in the world and includes rare-earth element additives that make Magnite products more heat resistant and dissipates heat faster than 6061-T6 Aluminum; one of the most common materials used in the firearms industry. If you’re looking to lighten up your existing build, or make that ultra-light build a reality, then these Magnite charging handles are the only way to go. I had bought 3 of their old charging handles. 2 of them would pop open on me with a very weak spring and would also bend and had a lot of wear with very few rounds. This one however is a whole different animal. It’s skookum, it’s very high quality and has a much stronger spring. It ranks up there with the higher tier charging handles. I’m happy they sent me these. Have about 500 rounds through one and it works just fine.

Bought two of these for my custom AR builds. A typical charging handle has an ugly black anodize finish that scratches easily. This charging handle is Cerakote black. Wears great. Great fit. Extremely light weight!

Emailed customer service before buying. I've purchased from Tribe before and specifically their forend in this lightweight material because of the weight savings and comparable quality to my aluminum stuff. I was a little concerned because the reviews here mention these can be out of spec. I have Aero and Daniel Defense uppers. CS said first batch of these charging handles had "indents that were too large", but they've since been corrected. I ordered 1 black, 1 FDE. Swapped with a Geissele "Super" charging handle. I've put a couple hundred rounds through each model and I'm very happy with them. smooth pull and coating is really slick. For half the price of my Geissele charging handle, I am thoroughly impressed.

The material is light and strong with no twisting. The larger gripping surface is great for either hand. My only concern is that when you open it right handed, the lever paw will rise away from your upper receiver with plenty of clearance. Trying it just using the right grip (like left hand style) and the paw only moves away from the notch in the upper receiver only half the distance as you would when using the left lever. I did eventually get it where it would work, but I had to bend the paw slightly (not fun on something 10 minutes out of the packaging) so that it would clear the retaining notch. If this had more care put into the design, I wouldn't have to bend it at all.I can only recommend this product if you are sure you want to have to do some fitting to be able to use it with either hand.

Going as light as I can I saw this. I saw that magnite stuff over on the Xpedition archery booth at ATA. It could be a real game changer. All in all this was with more than 50 bucks imo.

Nice product for the price fictions well and it’s was actually OD green that matched my other parts. Why it’s so difficult to get ODG parts that are all the same shade is nuts
