Basic parts that don’t need to be pretty, they just need to work, shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. I already need to buy extra parts to keep my build California legal, I shouldn’t have to drop 50 on a fancy selector to keep it safe. This fits the bill. It isn’t polished, but it works, totally worth the price.

Great upgrade that adds a new look and works with there trigger systems. You do not need to use the trigger system with the selector, it works independently. Has the flat mil spec look to it. Should work with any ar lower 223/556 platform.

Works as intended. Seems fairly well-made, good fit and finish. Works just fine. I’ve only had the opportunity to use it on a couple range trips so,Time will tell how it holds up to where in tear, So I got a ramble on for my review to be useful to fill 200 characters or more so my apologies for the rambling after-the-fact hope this helps.

replace single sided safety with this ambidextrous model when adrenlin gets pumping during a shot i don't have to worry about where the safety is lol it is on both sides now works fine after i cut the ridge off the pistol grip safety kept getting stuck on edge of grip at fire position realized it wasn't the safety's fault removed obstructing rubber below it on grip and it works great now

I'm a Southpaw and when I joined the Army in 1981, I had to become Right-handed because Ambi controls of any sort were not available. Finally, around 1985, the Ambi Safety Selector was adopted and at a Soldier's request to the Armorer, it could be installed. I left the Army in 2009 after being critically injured in Afghanistan. Since then, I have built 3 AR-15 style Firearms and with each, an Ambi Safety Selector has been installed. The Franklin Armory BFSIII Trigger Group came with its own and was installed in my 9mm AR Pistol that has an 11" Barrel and a Colt SMG Magazine dedicated Lower-reciever. The other 2 AR-15 style Firearms are a Palmetto State Armory Mid-length Gas Tube 16" Classic and a Palmetto State Armory 10.5" Classic Pistol; both are chambered in 5.56mm NATO and they each have a TRYBE Defense Ambidextrous Mil-Spec Safety Selector. From what was installed on my M16 Family of Rifles I used in the Army, these TRYBE Defense Ambi Safetys look, feel and operate the same (other than 'Select Fire', of course) and at the price from Optics Planet, plus the Lifetime Warranty offered by TRYBE, these Ambi Safety Selectors can't be beat!

I ordered 2 of these for future builds, I received them and realized they are not as shown on the Listing, I cannot really Rate this item. But the picture here on OP is not what you receive, the countersunk screw in the picture is what I wanted and what I received was a allen head screw instead which is a raised head piece of hardware. So, fixing the listing might help others decide if this is what they want. I was doing a retro build and wanted it as correct as possible. I opted for the CMMG Ambidextrous Safeties as they were correct to the picture the last time I ordered them.
