Pros: handguard is well machined and finished. Materials are high quality (6061-T6 aluminum). Fits well on my Adams arms AA-15 carbine length piston AR (with the non low profile gas block, you have to remove the gas block to install) Also comes with a rail section included. Cons: expensive for what it is. You cannot attach a rail section very close to the muzzle. Rail sections are proprietary in nature. I modified mine with some metal files and a drill press to accept some M-LOK accessories. They really should switch over as it is a essentially a the industry standard at this point. No built in QD attachment points which should be standard for a $150 handguard in 2019.

Feels solid and dropped in easily. I was a bit confused by the manufacturer’s product description that says there are 24 mlok slots on 6 slot tracks. Simply looking at the picture one can see this doesn’t make sense. The tracks are at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, as well as 2, 4, 7, and 10 o’clock. That’s 7 slot tracks, not six. And yes, they are all mlok slots, not just heat vents. But having one more track than described is a good thing though, so I’m not complaining about that. My only complaint about this product, however, is the position of the mounting screws at the front. This makes it so that the mlok slots at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions are only half slots and limits how far forward you can mount something like a weapon light. Other than that, great product and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Thrilled with this purchase. It sits tight. No wobble whatsoever. Lightweight, and was the perfect handguard upgrade for the already muzzle-heavy Sport II. Lines up perfectly with the picatinny rail up top. For the price, this can't be beat. Exceeds my expectations.

My Sport II came with a notoriously thick Magpul MOE M-LOK handguard, it was quickly getting me to hate using the rifle. This replacement has been the best upgrade I've made to the thing. It has flush screws that stake into the barrel lug, which probably helped it managing to keep my IR laser aiming module zero'd during use. Good product, good price.

If you're looking for a drop-in skinny hand guard that provides a ton of mounting options, this is it: Fit and finish are excellent. The size is super skinny and easy to grab with a C-clamp; very good for support hand control. I'll be adding a hand brake on the bottom! There are plenty of M-Lok slots for mounting other accessories and the 12 o' clock 1913 rail is the correct design philosophy. The material feels solid despite its almost non-existent weight. I immediately installed the included M-Lok QD mount and now I have my sling in a better position than before — it's very rare a single product provides multiple solutions but UTG has really impressed me with this drop-in hand guard. Don't worry about "mid-tier" or "top-tier" bs — the UTG Pro Super Slim hand guard is awesome.
