As always,UTG products are ranked highly on my list of choices. Fit and finish are as good as it gets, plus ease of installation. However, there was a mistake. On MY part. I should've just ordered my usual "Super Slim Drop In Quad Rail" as I have that model on another AR and the diameter is more comfortable and controlable in my hands. So. Now I'm "stuck" with with the Carbine Length hand guard as I couldn't get out to my range to sight in and test. While serviceable ,I wasn't comfortable and decided to go with the Super Slim model. AFTER the return limit timeframe. I'll just try to sell it locally.

Although this rail is not free-floated design, the lock-up is extremely solid and when properly installed, will absolutely retain zero for any laser/optics that you throw on it. Very sturdy material and secured mounting mechanism. Easy no-hassle installation that doesn't require any modification like cutting the delta-ring or front handguard retainer cap. Just slip on and tighten those screws down and you are all set.

Fit my rifle like a glove and extended the length of rails. Very solid with no movement. Slots allow for front sight rail and sling ring. Much better quality than oem fore grips. Great price. It does add a little weight.

I ordered this product and it was shipped promptly. I installed this on my AR without any adjustments at all. I Removed the ok magpul hand guard. Pulled back the slip ring and it dropped in perfectly. It fits like a well worn glove. Bolts up easily. Have fired 200+ rounds without any issues. The rubber grips are a nice feature. But I hardly used them. I like the longer bottom rail, as I installed a UTG bipod with a fab defense fore grips. I highly recommend this to any M400.

This product was exactly what I expected. I installed it on a Ruger AR 556. It fits perfectly except for the bayonet lug. I had read other reviews and knew what to expect. The top portion will fit on, the lower carbine section fits on, but then the small lower section in front will not slide on properly. The Ruger bayonet lug has a "bell shape" flare which you'll have to grind down slightly (1/16") on each side. It wasn't as heavy as I anticipated though. I also added a Magpul AFG2 angled foregrip to the forward portion of the lower rear carbine section. Special Note* – when adding the Magpul AfG2, you'll need to slide it on before installing the front lower piece. The AfG2 doesn't expand open far enough. I also saw this on other reviews and they're accurate. I also installed the UTG Heavy Duty Recon 360 bipod on the front. Even with all the accessories, the overall weight is still very manageable. Depending on your shooting circumstance you can always quickly remove the bipod. Generally speaking I'm very pleased with the purchase and the weapon looks fantastic!

It looks really nice and was easy to install. The rubber hand grips are plus too. Its the exact length i was looking for and i like how secure it is.but its an awkward feel in the hand, If you have smaller hands, definitely consider something else because with the awkward shape, its pretty thick. Also is heavier that some 15" handguards.
