Purchased this rail over the holidays for my first AR build and O.P. got it shipped quick. Installed and torqued in less than 15 minutes and headed to the range. I rested it on sand bags AND also bolted on a bipod. This rail is very solid and completely freefloats the barrel. As for fitment, this guy cleared my Daniel defense low profile gas block with no issues and I had no problems attaching to the included barrel nut when mounting to my DTI upper. I will be picking up another one pretty soon!Pros: Extremely good value, lightweight, easy to installCons: none

dg00902 comment was the same issue i ran into.. i have a DMPS sportical and i could not get the screws to go through the barrel nut into the rail due to my upper reciever obstructing the holes slightly.. i have found no other info on the web about this issue other than the previous review stating the same issue i have. so its not that i would'nt reccomend the item , because i really like the look and feel of it but it wont fit a DMPS SPORTICAL. i think im going to have to return this item unless someone can shed some light on a workaround for me…Pros: looks and feels qualityCons: doesnt fit "My particular rifle"

I bought this item not only because the price was right but also because it's slim. I was hoping at this price point I wasn't going to get something cheap feeling or crappy. I was not disappointed at all. This thing is really nice. It's very sturdy and the finish was perfect. Not a single ding or scratch and it was 100-200 bucks less than others. If I need another handgaurd it will be UTG PRO again without a doubt.

Honestly, I didn't think much of it as it was a UTG product. The Pro series line is really impressing me. I was doing a build for a friend and purchased this because of price and now, I think I'll add this to my own build. very impressed with UTG, they stepped up their game. Pros: quality and feel

I put this on my Adams Arms piston rifle and it has worked flawlessly. I have several thousand rounds through my rifle without any problems. It went on easily and it looks great. I have removed it to do some cleaning and it and it went back on without any problems. Good fit and finish and the quick disconnect sling mount holes are a nice feature.
