This was a great solution for those who want a pic rail and Mlok hand guard. Mine did require some minor fitting on the lugs. I have a MKI import from Century. I think the stamping on my receiver was the source of the problem as I also had to hand fit other upgrades I made to it.

Easy installation. Depending on you gas tube orientation you may have an interference with the charging handle knob. Best system I have seen to date to get the needed real-estate up top and out front. Looks and feels the part. Solid. The test will be over time if it can withstand a drop. Great value.

First, Optics Planet has great customer support!I found this UTG handguard on a YouTube video. I was already aware of the quality of the UTG/Leapers products and was very relieved/excited that they had this handguard for the MP5k platform. Last night I decided to install it. The packaging from UTG was great as well as the included instructions and the only tool needed to install. The installation process included small clamps that gripped on the barrel and was very simple…UTG actually provided a spare clamp and spare screws if ever needed!The factory fore handguard on my MP5k platform was held in place by one pin and did not have an included picatinny mount. This UTG replaced my factory handguard and included both picatinny mounts as well as M-LOK. The entire installation was actually faster and easier than it was to remove the single pin holding the factory handguard! Great support information from Optics Planet simplifying the order process…oh yea, they did actually match price for my purchase! Awesome company, awesome product! I will be posting this review for a similar product for my MP5 platform…same!
