Gas block is crazy high and wont fit under handguard that was made to fit suppressors. Emailed V-Seven company about if I could use a normal low profile gas block and they told me their gas block was proprietary as stated on their website. I'm sure its a good barrel if you're willing to shell out the extra cash for their "proprietary" $300 handguard.

Can't say enough positive things about this barrel. Truly a Match Grade quality barrel. No surprise coming from a company that was started by someone who helped build the Noveske brand. After only about 25 rounds with UMC 120 BTHP ammo I was getting just inside 1 moa groups at 100 yards using my Vortex Razor HD. The groups were even tighter, sub-moa with Hornady 110 V-Max ammo. The 14.5" option was a great choice saving me many ounces in weight offsetting my suppressor weight to almost unnoticeable.

I was initially skeptical of the price tag on these V7 barrels but ordered one anyways. I got the 6.5" model and it included the gas block and tube. It runs perfectly with 220gr subs suppressed and required absolutely zero fiddling with. It worked 100% right out of the box.

I have had to send back two handguards and barrel nuts already because the propietary gas block sits to high. If you have a specific build in mind as I did, check and makes sure that the handguard will work with this.

I have the 8.25" for my blackout build and it's a great barrel. The finished is very uniform and the quality seems top-notch. It was a snug fit into my upper and the M4 feed ramps were aligned almost perfectly with my upper's. I purchased an adjustable gas block so I can't comment on the supplied on fitting with various handguards. It's easy enough to buy a new gas block if the supplied one doesn't work, just get a set-screw or clamp-on style and you're good to go.I also contacted the company on a few occasions with various questions and their replies were quick and to the point; gave me the exact info I was looking for.
