I am very satisfied with this hand guard. The design of the barrel nut wrench that is provided makes installation and removal easy. As with all VSeven products the fit and finish are top notch. Anyone looking to shave weight or balance out a rifle with a heavier profile barrel should consider one. You can definitely find cheaper options but I believe these hand guards are well worth the cost.

The fit and finish of this hand guard are excellent. I have had people at the range compliment me on the look of it. It is also so light it almost feels like I don't have a hand guard at all. The install is a little tricky as it involves more timing of the barrel nut than some Hand Guards I've used. However, if you've used the standard style where the gas tubes go in the barrel nut hole then you won't have too much difficulty. The timing is for aligning the screw holes that attach the hand guard to the barrel nut. If the barrel not is not aligned right the Hand Guard top rail will be off. Didn't have any difficulties sliding the Hand Guard over the barrel nut like the instructions warn you about. It was tight but still easy to slide on. I am very satisfied with this part and will consider buying again for my other caliber builds.

Purchased this for my 3-gum competition rifle build . Fit and finish are perfect – it even clears the adjustable gas block. Extremely light and rigid, proven durable so far. About only thing to note is the finish will wear as mine does end up getting tossed in barrels during matches.

I got this on OP and ordered the Titanium barrel nut for it on V-Seven's site. Never have I had such a well made, nice fitting, nice feeling, durable, light handguard. Genuinely a must have for any light weight Recce or WWSD build. Better than the carbon fiber handguards as well, also lighter.
