I bought a V7 Ultra-Light Forward Assist in 2014, and it's worked great for me. Never noticed a functional difference between this aluminum forward assist and a standard steel forward assist. The V7 Ultra-Light Forward Assist looks great and is about half the weight of a standard steel forward assist.

Not much to say about this…It is nice that V Seven has different textures for their assists to match the esthetics of the rest of the rifle. This is a glossy looking button and is easy to install, especially if you have an Aero upper where the roll pin is actually a set screw .

Have ordered a few v seven products and they are all great. Was looking for lightweight parts and these fit the bill. The forward assist looks great, can definitely feel the difference in weight when comparing to mil spec. The finish is a little glossy like the picture but still looks good. And the diamond pattern looks awesome and has good texture and grip.

Definitely make my finger feel better when charging.The regular ones are 2 big just get in the way and honestly i say u can do without it.Im running a LMOS JP CARRIER dont even have serrations cause its light weight.I just wanted it out the way as much as possible.This was it without leaving a hole there for gas and debre to come slinging out into my face and eyes.Wont never forward assist anyway i believe in the charging methed at all cost. Even in life or death.

This product is well made and feels great. Oddly enough, its also reasonably priced, which V Seven products seldom are. A great upgrade though not a necessary one for function. Mainly an aesthetic upgrade.
