this hand guard is so easy to install, it comes with everything you need. Plus 2 key mod rails, one medium in length the other small. Fits perfect. Great for keeping the a2 front sight look and also gaining some real-estate in front for accessories.

I've purchased two of these VISM AR15 drop in Handguard. I like that it has an opening on top to allow you to keep the factory equipped A2 sights. I do not have to mess with uninstalling them. Very convenient and sturdy. Fits perfectly on my S&W M&P Sport II AR-15.

This rail meets all expectations. Its profile is nice and thin. It attaches securely to the rifle with ease. The color is pretty close to the other FDE accessories already on the rifle, such as magpul grips and buttstock. Very good rail for the money.

WORKED LIKE A DREAM! This is the third handguard I've tried to replace the OEM handguard on Smith & Wesson M&P AR-15 version w/ red dot sight and picatinny gas block. This handguard extends beyond the gas block 2" or so, but doesn't completely cover the barrel. Very easy to install and reasonably priced.

Received my handguard from optics planet and had absolutely no issues installing it. No dremel, no filing, fit perfectly. Put my angled foregrip from m lok on no problem. Fit like a glove. Did pull the extra rails sent off and thats it. Just get the 13.5 carbine length and not the 13 mid length and you won't have a problem

It was a good looking and light weight hand guard for a good price.However, I felt quite a bit of movements after a few shots. The hand guard moved up and down, left and right. It bothered me a great deal.I had To take it apart and shimmed a few places in order to stop the “looseness”.It is working OK now, but what a hassle !!!Two stars only�☹️
