We use our own state of the art barrel cell to provide high end buttoned 416RSS Blanks. We QA/QC throughout the entire barrel making process, air-gauging and drift gauging using 10″ drift pins testing to a tenth of a thousandth on tolerance. Our barrels are sub MOA and are match grade. To further enhance the Watchtower Firearms barrel line we now offer an advanced Black Nitride QPQ treatment. The QPQ process is an advanced Black Nitriding process, which augments the standard Nu-Tride process. Enhancing corrosion resistance involves a secondary polishing operation, followed by re-oxidation to produce a lustrous black finish and nearly double the barrel life expectancy. We also offer this line of barrels with post QPQ fluting options to give it the Watchtower Firearms advanced weight reduction and unique look. 416 twice stress relieved steel, 5R rifling – button pulled, Mid-length gas barrel, 1/2-28 threads, 1-8 twist, .750 in gas block diameter. This barrel is absolutely killer. I bought a lite handgaurd just so you can see the barrel better. Super accurate and fit into my reciever set like a glove. It's absolutely the ultimate in steel barrels. Only way you could do any better would be CF barrel and that's going to be double the price. The F1 crew has got some awesome products coming off the shelf and I will be excited to see what else they have in store for barrels – they had a siiick one at shot17 in their interview with tactical sht that was a swirled bronze coating… the possibilities are endless. They did after all skeletonize the AR and went against the grain of everyone else saying it won't work when dirty etc. etc. blah blah blah… just quality products – that's all these cats turn out over there.

No more F1 logo on the barrel and you will most likely get a different variation of fluting. I found out today they have 3 variations of the spiral. I ended up with a candy cane spiral on mine. Never again F1

Lovin' this barrel! I got the diamond pattern which was my second choice, but I'm actually am glad I did. Looks really nice and performs even better. Finish, rifling and fluting are perfect. Sub MOA accuracy. No complaints whatsoever! Optic Planet delivers, as always.
