A billet upper receiver means that it has been machined start to finish from a single piece of aircraft aluminum, rather than forged. Rather than offering the standard forged receiver, the Wilson Combat stripped upper has extra material around stress points and more precise fitting when combined with the AR lower receiver. Great product, tighter BCG raceway. Love the slick side. Can’t go wrong with this well made upper receiver. Especially useful when paired with a heavy barrel, added thickness produces less fess flex and more support for the barrel

This upper is BURLY! Designed to eliminate any weak points with extra metal added in the main body, this upper will obviously last for years. Rock solid construction will help with durability and accuracy.One note: it does not fit in a normal block for assembly. The block will hold it firmly enough to get good torque but it may damage your block.

When I received this upper even the packaging screamed quality when I fitted it up to may wc 20" super sniper barrel the fit was great used a wc handguard as well with areo bcg liked it so well I bought another and installed a 18" 350 legend barrel on it heavy duty construction thick walls its beast and very accurate fits most barrels well to and handguards adds style and power to hunting builds cant wait for deer season the extra cost is worth every penny

Was really bummed out when this upper did not work with my handgaurd due to needing a mil spec upper reciever. If that's not an issue for you its a solid choice for a clean billet upper. May have to get one in the future for a different build.
