I've only been able to fire a few sighting in rounds, but I can already see much tighter groups. I was also trying different bullets and powders. It shot everything well and some very well. It's a huge improvement over my old DPMS 16 inch stock barrel.

I’ve considered Wilson barrels several times, but usually turn my own blanks instead. I haven’t shot this one yet, but everything looks to be as it should be. Finish is great, evenness of fluting is perfect, gas block is polished well and the crown looks perfect. I’ll update this once I put some bullets down range. I went with Wilson since they have good reviews and are one of the few that had the 6.5 twist available in 224 V.

I waited to review this until I had other quality barrels to compare it agains, since Iv acquired some Noveske/LMT/LaRue barrels, and the machining and quality that came from the WC barrel is above all. Most think they’re a 1911 only company, well they definitely have brought that quality to sporting rifles and Precision barrels.

Fantastic quality rifling looks great no waves or bad machining marks it's lightweight and looks good inside and out I bought another immediately after the first one came in

Fantastic barrel; however I used an Odinworks adjustable gas block and no matter how much I opened it, it seemed undergassed. It wouldn't lock the bolt all the way back after the last round when using Lancer Mags. Was apprehensive to drill the barrel port larger but finally did, went up one size. Placed a cleaning rod in while drilling to protect the rifling. Turns out I increased the drill size a few sizes up compared to how I received it. I should have written down the sizes but didn't. Found others in ARF.com who did the same thing. Now that it cycles properly, I just need to get a few hundred rounds through it.
