Just installed these on my Marlin 45/70. Well-made, came with 2 apertures, large and medium basically. The front sight white line could use some brighter paint or glow but shows up well. These are not illuminated, a mistake in the ad.Install instructions are my one negative. Could have came with paper install instructions w/pictures. Even the install instructions link on the website didn’t have pictures. The video was not help on this particular sight. Sights are well made and burley, should last as long as you need them to.Be prepared to battle the Remlin screws, mine stripped out and I have to retap.

I mounted the XS sight on my Marlin 1895 without any issued, it was easy to install taking about 30 minutes and using only a small screwdriver, all hardware and lock tight was included in the package.At the range, sighting in was easy with about 15 rounds and up to 100 yards – without a bore sight. Great upgrade with fast target acquisition and worth every penny.For hunting in heavy cover or fast moving game, this is just the ticket.

After a long search for night sights for my Marlin 1895 I bought this sight set because in the description it said it was an illuminated night sight, but it is neither of the two. It is a simple metal peep sight set with white paint on the front post. I have kept it because after doing even more searching, I was unable to find night sights for my rifle and I'm tired of using the semi-buckhorn sights it comes with.
