Everything you need in a AR style stock plus it has an adjustable cheek riser.

I decided to upgrade from the standard mil-spec stock on my AR-15 build. I wanted something with an adjustable cheek riser and a soft buttpad. So far I like the product. I find the recoil spring a little stiff, but I imagine it may break in with use. Happy with it, got what I wanted.

It’s slightly heavy and not the very well rounded. For the price it’s excellent tho. If you’re building a budget rifle this stock is very comfortable.

Price is nice, but it's heavy and it rattles like a maracas, on a mil-spec buffer. Absolutely nowhere on the Xtreme Tactical Sports package does it state mil-spec, so I think that's just OpticsPlanet filling in the blanks without measuring. There's a good half mm gap between the buffer tube and the stock. Also, the release button sticks sometimes due to the way it's engineered. So mil-spec it is not, it's DEFINITELY com-spec, but on the flip side, if you want to get down with some sick Caribean or Latin beats, you've got a ready made maracas (with mil-buffer tube, on com-spec, that might actually fit snug)

I’ll keep this short. It is essentially a fab defense gl-shock clone for half the price. It’s similar in quality but has a shorter part that hooks into the buffer tube for changing length of pull. The problem with that is that part which hooks in will slide on some buffer systems. Basically, the stock won’t stay locked on all buffer tubes. There’s likely an easy fix for this which involves placing some had epoxy on that part to give it more height so it fits in the grooves more. I’m no gun expert so I’ve tried my best to explain this. The spring system seems fine and comparable to the fab defense gl shock. For the money it seems like a decent buy. I’ll update the stars once I shoot jt.

Took about 20 seconds to remove the old one and put this on my BC AR 10 308. It should help with my cheek placement for those longer shots.
