I just received this gas block from OpticsPlanet. It's a very well made product – super low profile, excellent machining, smooth deburring and great finish, and fits with my Samson Evolution rail with tons of room to spare. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone!

I purchased this gas block in conjunction with Mounting a Slim Front Handguard. The fit on my barrel was snug and required tapping in place. After shooting over 200 rounds there was no perceived gas leak around the block. The mounting screws supplied with the unit fit tight but I added a drop of blue Loctite to each. I had removed a fixed front sight and had to use the gas tube stop pin from that sight for this Block. If you are building a barrel from scratch you will have to buy this pin as it is not shipped with the unit.

This product arrived in a very timely manner. It was very easy to install and it fit perfectly on my armalite eagle 15. It was low profile enough that my free floating hand rail fit right over it with no problems and the set screws tightened it down without any problems. The gas tube fit without any problems at all.

good solid built product, buy american, this would have got a 5 star if they would throw in a roller pin for the gas tube, just in case you bummed the existing pin up removing it. knowing you dont have a back up pin will sure make you take care removing the orig. did drop mine in the carpet, but found, like i say, roller pin cost less than a dime, throw one in.
