Purchased two lowers and two uppers. Great price on them both. They fit so tight and snug absolutely no movement from both sets before tension screws was installed. The tension screw was a nice feature. Great buy great price top of the line quality

Bought the regular forged upper to match the Zev lower I built a couple of years ago. Fantastic quality at every level, especially their finish. I think it’s the best in the industry. Zev has moved way up on my list.

It’s interesting but it’s possible looking at a review that was from 2017. They didn’t understand the meaning of thermal fit that means you heat the upper so that it will let the barrel extension slide in and when it cools you get such a tight fit when the barrel heats up this will never developed slop therefore POI will never shift , due to too much slop between the barrel in the upper receiver not sure how one reviewer didn’t understand this. Also, if you have this upper, you should use their lower because their fit is absolute, do not use their upper with a different lower because it might not lineup because they’re tolerances are absolute… if you want to look at something that sloppy or has tolerances that are much higher than look at Aeroprecision for example they have much higher tolerances, so therefore, barrels will slide in upper and lower, as will slide together easily but yet there’s going to be much more wiggle and movement and you could say well that doesn’t affect barrel accuracy because the barrel is separate. Well, it’s really not harmonics are everything and if you’re not doing your own loads to account for this than different harmonics are going to change as slop movement and Cetra Cetra for the most part most people aren’t gonna care in their works or shoot just fine but if you’re looking for absolute accuracy and making sure that all else is zeroed out, then you wanna Zev upper and lower I know there’s others out there that also have tight torches, but this is the one I know of

ITS NICE THAT ZEV IS FINALLY GETTING INTO THE AR GAME. THEIR UPPER IS FLAWLESS, AND THE PRICE IS EVEN BETTER, BUT IF YOU WANT MATCHING UPPER AND HAND GUARD, THE GUARD WILL COST YOU TWICE+ WHAT THE UPPER DOES. THEY HAVE ALL DIFFERENT SIZES, AND THEY ARE NICE GUARDS THEY USE A WEDGE LOCK, BUT THEY ARE TYPICAL ZEV PRICES WHERE AS THE UPPER WAS RATHER REASONABLE I BOUGHT MINE FOR 120ISH I DONT KNOW IF I GOT A DEAL, BUT BUT THEM WHILE THEY ARE CHEAP BECAUSE I GUARANTEE THEY WILL UP THE PRICE OF THESE UPPERS!

I bought this a little bit ago because ZEV parts have always been great for my glock, and they look good, and this upper was only $120ish even tho it is stripped.but then I looked at matching handguards and they are $250-300! I start putting it together and the barrel (Ballistic Advantage PREMIUM series) wouldnt fit, I had to lube it up and pound it down with a nylon hammer. then the back take down pin was way off, from my lower. so i had to file it down. I know usually not everything fits perfect but this was the worst one.then the handguard putting that on is a chore, you have a TINY pin you put above the gas tube to make sure the guard and upper dont twist. then the wedge lock takes forever to tighten down and its at the worst angle. then you have these other two TINY screws you put in. and it has a special tool to tighten the barrel nut
